We have worked extensively in Ukraine, since 1997. For a number of years, we led the Ukraine-Ireland Business and Trade Association with the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland. How things have changed and continue to do so.

In all honesty, we stopped advising on Ukraine between 2006 and 2014 due to deeply entrenched corruption. Now we think that serious efforts are being made to deal with corruption, reduce bureaucratic barriers to business and install a stable business regime. Because of this we will advise again. Have a look at the video at the bottom of the page to see what we mean.

This does not make things straightforward and the need for considered advice remains high. It simply is not safe to assume European standards on business matters. It will come, especially through the EU Association agreement and bilateral relationships, but not yet.

We work with Ukraine companies of course but only those who work at high standards.
