We use strategy planning templates such as SOSTAC simply as tools, they are a convenience, but not the product. We believe that quality strategy comes from thinking, questioning, assessment and delivery. It also needs freedom from groupthink, interpersonal and personal dynamics. Good strategies are much more than self-serving statements .

Our approach to strategy is to achieve clarity, to develop continuity or disruption, as the task demands. We facilitate, mentor, encourage, challenge and validate. Our approach to strategy is to identify an approach that is fit for purpose. A strategy we assist with is something that can be rigorously challenged in its implementation and delivery.
